A very Morningbell Christmas Card

We’ve all been so busy with the holidays and new years celebrations that we haven’t had much time to think about you wonderful people. But that’s all going to change, we swear! Here’s a little new year update for the band!
Recordings:
Travis continues to toil away on album number 4. Although rumors of a double album have surfaced (mostly by Travis himself), he assures us that the album will be contained to one disc. It will probably have a few more tracks than we usually include (as we are working on/choosing from roughly 25 songs). There is a possibility of an accompanying e-release of songs that didn’t make the cut (not because of quality, but because of cohesion), but expect new music soon. We’re shooting for a release date around September, but samples will be up in the next few months.
Live Shows:
We hope to make this spring a little busier than fall was in regards to live shows. We felt we needed a little space from playing and cut it a bit thin over the past 5 months, but we’re ready to test new material out on your ears. It will be a unique experience for us as well to be performing new songs at all upcoming shows.
Lineup:
We’re happy to be free from attrition in the drummer department and are pleased to continue to work with Chris as he will remain in Gainesville for the immediate future. He will be helping in the drum recording department too, something we haven’t really had before. Also, despite her very busy schedule, we are working hard to make sure Stacie is at each show, as she is truly an integral member of the band.
Miscellaneous:
Eric (writing) hopes to up the production of podcasts, blogs, artwork and other fan-interactive e material. This internet thing isn’t going away any time soon and he plans on using it to stay in contact with you guys.
The Road:
We already have shows for Tampa and are working on Jacksonville for spring. A summer tour is possible, but too far out on the horizon to give specifics.
