Inuit Jargon album 2 update!
Thursday, February 14th, 2008
The new Inuit Jargon is chugging along like a Diesel freighter in the Persian Gulf, except that it’s packed with a crew that has explosive diarrhea.
I do have to say that I am really proud and impressed at some of the sounds we’re coming up with. Samples will be available soon!

Orange Records is excited about 2008!!!
Saturday, January 5th, 2008
1. How about a new Morningbell record?! Travis has 15+ songs in the works and has already started recording. You’ll be hearing debuts of the songs starting soon. Probably February.
2. How about a new Inuit Jargon record?! We’ve already started work on 6 songs and things are sounding hot. Hotter from the oven?
3. How about a new act?! Orange is happy to welcome Copperhead Chris and the Snake Charmers to our roster. The Snake Charmers play whiskey-soaked, honkey-tonked, southern-fried alt-country music. We’ve started recording some tracks and are looking forward to seeing how it comes out.
4. How about a split EP?!?!?! We will be releasing a 5 way split EP just like how Kiss released 4 solo albums at the same time. It will feature material by Travis, Eric, Stacie, Chris, and A SPECIAL GUEST.
It’s gonna be a stanker of a year!

Orange is Juicing up: New Records expected SOON.
Friday, November 10th, 2006
The label has been busy busy busy with many exciting projects to be released in the next few months.
First, Morningbell is well into their 3rd album (Untitled as of this release). Most of the tracks have been recorded (except drums and piano), and mixing is almost ready to start. Advance copies of the album will be available on March 3rd. The pre-lease show (as we’re calling it) is going to have some sort of large scale CD giveaway. It will either be first x people in the door get one, or anyone with a morningbell t shirt will get one. We’re not sure yet. The show will also feature Inuit Jargon and The Umoja Orchestra.
Second, …and this is my odyssey just wrapped recording on their debut EP. Mixing is in the final stages and this should be ready by December. No official date has been set.
Third, Inuit Jargon will be recording their Christmas Album in the next few weeks. It will be 45 minutes long and it will take 45 minutes to record.
Fourth, Clock Hands Strangle will be starting their full length in Spring 2007. It’s bound for glory!
We hope to see you at the shows and keep checking back for more updates.

Orange Records …and This is My Odyssey!
Wednesday, August 30th, 2006
Orange is proud to introduce our newborn baby …And This Is My Odyssey.
Odyssey is Gainesville’s answer to the New York Dance-Rock scene. The secret ingredient to Odyssey, however, is their mad scientist approach. Led by Marc Vanderlaan’s Frankenstein bass/keyboard and haunting lead vocals, Odyssey pulses with the rhythm of 10,000 Gloria Estefans.
Look for their release in late 2006.

Morningbell’s “Monkeys to Men” Almost Atcha
Tuesday, April 11th, 2006
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are almost ready for Morningbell’s Monkey’s To Men. It is a compilation of very early 4 and 8 track recordings that shaped who we became as a band. They are all recorded by Travis (all instruments) and all took place at least 4 years ago. It’s a cool glimpse into our past and is only going to be 4 bucks!
We’re turning abolutely no profit on this one, it’s purely out there for those who care. It will be worthwhile!
Available first on April 21st at our show at 1982.

Inuit Jargon’s Release is a success!
Monday, April 3rd, 2006
Wowza!!! 111 people shared a beautiful moment with us here at Orange Records this past April Fools at the Shamrock. Inuit Jargon made the audience their bitches and made sweet love to their faces. Sorry for the crud-i-te, but it needed to be said.
Congrats to the boys for such a spectacle!
Up next, Morningbell’s B sides.
