Studio Journal 5/16

oh man! today was great. shaun and tim and matt came over and we recorded from about 3 pm to 12 am. it was really productive. Nail Clippers is almost in completion. I should have it completely mixed by the end of the week. We wrote a new song called Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich. yes, i realize its another food song, but hey if weird al can have an entire album’s worth of songs about food, gosh dern in, so can us. We began recording another new song called We Do Awesome. It sounds like shitty era bowie, think let’s dance sung by the futureheads. today was just ultra productive, and is a good sign of things to come. i think that this whole recording thing is gonna work really well. in a little bit we’ll post this awesome little rap shit we made at like 11 pm tonight. it was late. we were tired. it ruled. it was low fi and spontaneous like the Jargon should be. gettin back to our Roots. i have work tommorrow so i’m going to bed. see you all at beth’s pretend wedding. stay well.
