Studio Journal 5/27

So over the past few days i’ve gotten a bunch of new ideas, some good some bad. One or two are for new songs, so I’m hoping those will work out. Then i came up with some ideas on how to make Nail Clippers more awesome. That song is almost completely done, we just need to re-record some vocals for it and then it should be done. Maybe we’ll post it on the site just so we can prove to you that we actually are making a real cd. Then I was working on Ice Cream Social, and I realized that that song is totally boring. So now it’s most likely going to be a hot Brit-pop number in the style of XTC or something like that. Speaking of awesome Brit-pop, I saw Snow Patrol last night with Julie. It was pretty awesome, mostly because they’re British, and all the best music comes from the U.K. I would be lying if I didn’t say that the show led to my new ideas for Ice Cream Social, but that’s besides the point. I just finished recording drums for the new version, and I’ll be working on it alot more today because it’s my only day off this week. Oh also, I’m going to go to Best Buy to get the Adventures of Pete and Pete dvd. DERP!
